Updated COVID-19 Policies
At Home In Brooklyn, B&B
Changes to our guest capacity and breakfast service due to COVID-19:
We are pleased to announce that At Home In Brooklyn will re-open to our guests on August 1, 2020, with some changes to ensure health and safety.
Second floor rooms: As you know, the three rooms on the second floor of At Home In Brooklyn normally share one full bath on the second floor as well as a powder room on the ground floor. Going forward, to insure the health and safety of all guests, we will only rent out one room at a time on the second floor so that no one has to share a bath. As a result, the prices of those three rooms will rise modestly to help offset the revenue loss to us of the other two rooms. Effective immediately, the prices of the second floor rooms will be as follows:
– Princess Room: $205 per night (previously $175) plus taxes
– Garden Room: $239 per night (previously $205) plus taxes
– King Room: $279 per night (previously $245) plus taxes
For purposes of applying credits for cancelled bookings due to COVID, guests may opt out of the price increase when using the credit.
For larger parties, guests may still rent a) the entire house ($1,200/night plus taxes), or b) 1, 2, or 3 rooms on the second floor for family groups that are comfortable sharing the baths. For each additional room after the first room rented on the second floor, 10% will be deducted from the posted price of that room. Note that when the entire house is rented with kitchen privileges, there will no longer be an option to have the house staffed (except for daily housekeeping.)
The price for the Queen Suite, on the 3rd floor, will remain unchanged at $325/night plus taxes.
We are sorry for the inconvenience rising prices may cause but hope our guests will appreciate that we have had only one price increase in the past 12 years of operation, and for only the Princess Room.
Guests will be given the opportunity to choose an hour for breakfast, either 8 a.m. or 9 a.m., so that we can maintain social distancing for all guests. We also request that guests wear face masks in the common areas of the house (all areas other than in your room) in the presence of other guests or staff.
