Did you know that Brooklyn, New York was one of the largest brewing centers in the country in the late 1800s? Immigrants from Germany, Belgium, and Ireland brought their knowledge and passion to over 45 breweries in the borough! It was this passion that inspired Steve Hindy and Tom Potter to open the Brooklyn Brewery in 1996. Today, the staff pushes the boundaries of brewing with an expanded barrel-aging program and an extensive roster of experimental batches. Beer lovers everywhere can visit the iconic brewhouse to learn more about the process and taste their favorite flavors. Here are some of the things you’ll see on a Brooklyn Brewery tour.

1. Delicious Beers
Get ready to take your taste buds on a wild ride! The Brooklyn Brewery offers a wide range of beers for a wide range of beer lovers. Perennial brews like the hoppy East IPA or roasted Brown Ale are full of nose-tingling aromatics, and changing weather brings beloved seasonals like the Brooklyn Summer Ale and Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. Be sure to try their flagship brew, the Brooklyn Lager, which is famous for its refreshing bitterness and floral aroma. This beer is offered year-round and pairs perfectly with pizza, burgers, Mexican food, and cheese. Yum!
