  • Desperate Hours: The Films of Michael Cimino (Sept 29 – Oct 6, 2016): In this film series, BAMcinématek pays tribute to the late Michael Cimino, the most audacious and controversial American filmmaker to emerge during the legendary New Hollywood era of the 1970s.
  • Peter Brook: Behind the Camera (Oct 10 – 20, 2016): Like his theater productions, Peter Brook’s films are an ongoing search for the truths of human nature. BAMcinématek surveys his adventurous film work in this ten-day series.
  • 13 Cats (Oct 21 – Nov 3, 2016): Just in time for Halloween, 13 Cats showcases some of film’s freakiest felines. From demonic furballs to sharp-clawed psycho-killers, there’s nothing cuddly these hellcats!
  • That’s Entertainment!: MGM Musicals Part II (Nov 18 – Dec 8, 2016): BAMcinématek celebrates the biggest and most innovative films of Hollywood’s Golden Age in MGM Musicals Part II.
